Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper optional
  • 1/2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Melt the butter over medium heat in a large skillet. Add the minced garlic and cook for one to two minutes, or until fragrant but not browned.

  • Next, add the shrimp to the skillet, arranging them in a single layer. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Cook for two to three minutes per side, or until the shrimp becomes pink and opaque.

  • Stir in the lemon juice, and cook for an additional minute. Let the flavors meld together.
