Turon with Langka is a popular Filipino street food that combines bananas' natural sweetness and jackfruit's unique taste. The preparation involves rolling the banana and jackfruit in brown sugar, encasing the mixture in a spring roll wrapper, and frying it to perfection. This sweet and crunchy treat is also a homemade favorite as it is easy to make.

Next, slice your ripe jackfruit into thin strips.

10 pieces lumpia wrappers (spring roll wrappers), 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup ripe jackfruit (langka)
Next, fold the bottom of the wrapper over the banana. Fold both sides towards the center and roll it upwards.
Wet the top of the wrapper with a little water to seal it. Do this process with the remaining bananas and jackfruit.
Put the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Make sure the oil becomes hot but not smoking.

Carefully place the turon into the hot oil. Fry them in batches. Turn them occasionally until they’re all golden brown and crispy. This takes three to four minutes per side.
Once done, remove the turon from the oil. Drain the turon on paper towels or a wire rack to remove excess oil.
Serve your turon with langka warm and crispy. Enjoy!
