Our Lucban recipe is a crowd pleaser that everyone will love! This festive dish is easy to prepare and just as delicious as it is beautiful. You won’t believe how much flavor this simple combination delivers! Serve at Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner, or anytime you need an extra special treat for your guests.
Sauté onion HICAPS BUTTERCREAM until translucent. Add pork giniling and diced hotdogs. Add bell pepper, tomato paste, and a little bit of water and let it boil.
2 tbsp HICAPS Buttercream Ref Margarine, 1 pc Onions, 500 g Pork Giniling, 100 g Hotdogs, 1 Bell Pepper, 1 pouch tomato paste
Add the remaining ingredients and let it simmer until most of the liquid is absorbed.
2 tbsp pickle relish, 2 tbsp raisins, 1 tsp White Sugar, 1 cup pineapple tidbits, 1 cup Chef’s Gourmet Premium Cheese
Make sure to season it with salt and pepper. Transfer the mixture to a large bowl and let it cool completely.

Prepare Llanera, brush the bottom and sides with softened Hicaps Buttercream. Line Llanera with banana leaf, enough to cover the bottom.
Arrange boiled egg slices, pineapple slices, belle pepper strips and carrots florets on top of banana leaves.

Add half of the beaten eggs, then spoon mixture into the molds. Pack the mixture well and smooth top. Pour the remaining half of the beaten egg mixture.

Cover each mold pan with foil. Steam for about 30-40 mins or until the meat mixture is set.
Let it stand for 10 mins and then invert on your serving platter.
