Cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside to cool.

While the macaroni cools, prepare the rest of the ingredients. Combine the shredded chicken, sweet pickle relish, minced onion, chopped carrot, pineapple tidbits, cubed cheddar cheese, and raisins in a large mixing bowl.
